Strange problem - sagem router

Hi,

had a quick search but could find no problem similiar to the one I'm experiencing. I was previously using the netgear router and never experienced any problems.

I tend to turn off the modem when away for a few days and when I return I turn on the Sagem and allow the lights to go all green and then boot up the PC. Once booted the PC, (Vista 32 OS), refuses to recognise that is connected to a network. Any attempt to repair the connection or diagnose the problem fails. However if I simply reboot the PC then the connection is found. It is rather annoying as i have to always restart the PC if the router has been turned off and never had this problem with the netgear router.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Richard

Re: Strange problem - sagem router

It doesn't just happen to the Sagem, I've seen it happen to Netgears too. Don't think it's a router issue, just a Vista "quirk" to be honest.
