Angry Port Forwarding Bit torrent - Help ME!!! PLZZZZZ

Right its driving me mad. All I want to do is port forward bit torrent. Here's what Ive done.

Follwed the guide to opening bit torrents ports on 192.168.0.1 and done the firewall thing.

I've also changed my ip address to a static one 192.168.0.2 and put skys DNS servers in the box. Internet and everything works Ace.

However, when I get bit torrent to test it, it says the port is not open. I think this is because this- and other websites- are stating my IP as been the same as the adsl port 90xx xx etc. I've tried this in the firewall section but still no good.

I've tried to follow the internal guide on here but when I type 192.168.0.2 on my brower I get the error page.

Im using the sagem router and concect wireless on my laptop.

      Please Help!!!

Try resetting the router so all previous changes are wiped out, then follow this guide. Click me.

Reading through it though, it looks like using uTorrent would be easier.

You have to forward the ports to the IP that your PC is on so you need to forward the ports to 192.168.0.2 if that is what you set your PC as.

Re: Port Forwarding Bit torrent - Help ME!!! PLZZZZZ

Just to add to tholt2's post - uTorrent is not showing my PC as being "connectable" either and hasn't done for over a week.

It always used to (until maybe I upgraded uTorrent) so I know the firewall/services are all set up correctly.

Though when you test port fortwarding you get a message saying

Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5).
maybe this is the reason ?
