Get your Sky V1 Firmware here!

I tried it and I got

"Upgrade file is not the correct type or version for this device.
      Upgrade failed.

Please obtain the correct file and try again"

You may have to use the Recovery method to update, similar to the way you did the original conversion to the standard firmware. Obviously replacing the standard Netgear firmware with the Sky version. There may be another way to do it, if there is I am sure someone will say.

Yes I used the recovery method way, and now the orange light on the router is staying on.

Have you tried putting it back into flash mode, ie, pull out the power plug or switch of at the power socket, whichever is easier, push a biro point into the reset hole and keep it there while you put the power back on. The power and orange lights should start to flash alternately. If that does not work, after a few attempts, then I am am afraid it is bricked.

Yes have tried that too. I spoke to sky and they said they will send me another router.
