      Cool Home Network Woes

Hi There I hope someone could help me!!!!!!
I'm trying to set up a home network between my media centre(2005 rollup) and my pc (xp pro) through a sagem sky router.
I have run the wizard got both machines set up on a new workgroup (film Share) i set both firewalls to allow file sharing and the hard drive set to share on both machines.
After rebooting i can see both machines on my pc in the work group but when i try to click on the media centre it tells me i have not got permission to access this server or administration rights see my network administrator.
I am administrator on both machines.
If i try to look at the workgroup from my media centre it tells me i do not have the permission see my network administrator.
Any help or advise would be very much apreciated.
I'm tired now of trying this(crying into my own lap)

      Re: Home Network Woes

I had a similar problem once the only way i could access the share folders was to set up a password on each pc and login with Administrator and the password.
also check simple file share is enabled

To turn Simple File Sharing on or off in Windows XP Professional, follow these steps:
      1. Double-click My Computer on the desktop.
      2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
      3. Click the View tab, and then select the Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)
