      Netgear V1 Router Problem Can Anyone Help?

      my white netgear router failed last week dont know if it was anything to do with the upgrade as its been fine for over a year? anyway so when i phoned sky they sent a replacement sagem router, i tried updating the firmware on my old white netgear but am unable to access the settings on through the ip address as im getting no signal going to the computer via wireless or ethernet, i have two flashing lights on the front of my box the power light and the green tick light, these flash one after the other and the only other light on is the ethernet when i plug it in, i get no wireless light at all, ive tried a reset but this does not even reset the box the lights remain flashing, is there anything i can do as i preferred this box to the new black sagem one i have now?

      Well this indicates your router has buggered up during the update. Have you tried updating it using the Netgear recovery utility>?

      Your router is in "recovery mode", follow the instructions here, and use the firmware from one of these links:

      You can get the Firmware from the following link:

      ftp://77.240.11.50/

      (After clicking the link, then right click and save as, the file called DG834GT-1SKUKS_V1.03.87.img)
