Massive speed drop with new firmware, can I downgrade?

      Hi,

My V1 is now updated with the new firmware, sadly my connection speed has gone from a nice and stable 15642 kbps to a slow and totally unstable 9642 kbps.

This speed drop has taken place ONLY since the firmware update, slowest connection I had prior to this was in 14500 kbps range.

Can I grab the old firmware and upgrade to the old version? Yes, UPGRADE

      Thanks!

Yes you can go back to the old version but in a few days it will just self-update to the new version again.

To revert to the old version just use the router upgrade function within the router admin pages. There's no need to use the flash/recovery utility. You'll find the old firmware image on your Sky CD.

Reverting will at least show you whether it is just a coincidence or whether the new firmware has indeed caused you problems (I suspect the former).

Update, back to old firmware and my speeds are now back up.
