      Date and time.

I noticed this morning my date and time are way out on the router logs page. I did wonder if this could be having an adverse effect on performance. Anyone know how to set these correctly ? TBH I would have thought it would gather the information from the PC or something, it currently reckons it's Current time: 2002-09-09 14:27:55

      Re: Date and time.

I can't think of any way it could cause a performance issue.

Anyway, to set the router's time…
      1. Go to the configuration pages at http://192.168.0.1/, username admin, password sky
      2. Click on SECURITY then SCHEDULE.
      3. Make sure the timezone is set to GMT, and tick the "Adjust for Daylight Savings Time" and "Use this NTP Server" tickboxes
      4. In the address boxes, enter the address 12.7.210.170 - you have to enter 12 in the first box, 7 in the second, etc
      5. Click on the APPLY link
      That should do it.

      Re: Date and time.

I can't see how this would have any affect on the performance, it should be showing the date as yyyy/mm/dd which is a standard date format.
