Can anyone tell me if my Sagem BB router is a NAT router? I read that these act as firewalls. If it is, do I need to run a software firewall on my PC, or is my current Outpost AV + Antimalware software enough?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: NAT Router?
Yes, your router is NAT and has very robust firewall-like functionality which will protect against intrusions. A software firewall will do the same (but with greater sophistication) and cover outgoing connections.
Whether you run a software firewall in addition would be a personal preference bearing in mind that a software firewall will offer packet filtering and control over connections on a per application basis i.e. malware can't "dial home" unless you permit it.
The router's firewall capabilities coupled with a good AV/malware package would give a high degree of protection. Adding a software firewall would increase this still further.
