      Re: Port 80

I suspect the question is about allowing incoming connections on port 80. Of course outgoing connections to port 80 are allowed - even Sky wouldn't release a router that couldn't do that!

As for blocking incoming connections to port 80, Sky definitely do not do that, but I know for a fact that the Sagem router has a bug whereby port forwarding for port 80 doesn't work. This is because the port forwarding and firewalling setup is wrong. It seems that the firewall rule that blocks external access to the router's configuration pages takes precedence over any port forwarding rule for port 80. I can't see any way of fixing this I'm afraid.

It's possible that the DG934G has the same type of problem, but I'm certainly able to do it with my old white Sky DG834GT router.

Hold on, I didn't read that right. Adding a entry in the services list for port 80 won't work because there's a built-in entry for port 80. Just add the forwarding rule you need, selecting the HTTP service from the appropriate drop-down menu.
