      Sagam v Netgear

      Hi All

I've 'finally' got my SKY BB up & running after 3 x routers due to previous 2 routers MAC addresses being assosiated with other accounts :-S

      I have some questions.....

The Router that is currently working is the Sagam, but i have 2 x netgear routers also unused.

      1. Which is the better router?
      2. How can i change the MAC address on one of the netgear routers to match the Sagam router (clone). I have already changed the SSID & WPA for one, but want to change the MAC & SERIAL if possible to i can compare routers.
      3. Can these routers be tweaked as my line supports 13meg BB but router only downloading at 5.5meg. I sure when i was with BT i was downloading faster.

      Thanks Guys

If you look through the forum you will probably realize that most benefit is achieved by 'tweaking' your wiring and PC rather than the router. Have a look at these sections for a start.
