      Low SNR

Just recently my router reports that my SNR is -7. (yes -7)

Current Noise Margin: -7.0 dB (Downstream), 10.0 dB (Upstream)

This has only just started as the downsteam nomally stays fairly constant about about 12.
It is stange as I do not loose connection even at this low SNR

When the router is rebooted it goes back up for a time then goes down again over a number of hours.
I have tried my own router ( 2wire 2700 ) and the same thing happens so it is not the router at fault. The time of day or night makes no difference.

Anyone have an idea what is going on
