      Hi Ant

I don't know what you have tried, however you could try turning the UPnP off, this has been known to help with the White router.

SkyUser - How to turn off UPnP

so my question is can you change the router to another router? I have a belkin DSL router

      Re: changing the sky router

The ADSL username and password that you would need to put into your new router would have to be extracted from the Sky router. As to how long you'd be able to get away with breaking Sky's terms and conditions by using a non-Sky router is anyone's guess. But sooner or later, I'm sure Sky will clamp down on this kind of activity.
