Well that's odd, it looks like there ARE two versions after all. My Netgear V2 router is saying V1.02.26, but the firmware on the Netgear FTP server says V2.02.34.

I shall investigate.

The firmware on the server does seem to be Sky's, but why should it be so large. 52Mb seems very big for firmware.

Had a quick look, the actual image file is 3968kbs, ring a bell?

Re: Bad Flashed DG934 - Now Dead.

The file on Netgear's FTP server is a complete source kit, but it does included a pre-compiled image file. It's 4063232 bytes long - the same as the DG934G-1SKUKS_V1.02.26.img file, although the two files' contents aren't the same.

I need to get an "unsquash" program that works with a little-endian file system - the MIPS core on the TI chip is configured to run little endian - in contrast to the MIPS core on the Broadcom chip.
