      U Torrernt Port Forwarding

      Hi

      Just after some help i have recently connected to sky broadband and i have forwared one of my ports like the demo said but some reason everytime i connect the IP address changes back everytime and the port closes is there a way to stop the port from closing ? or will i have to change the IP eveytime

      Hi follow this guide, excluding the downloading of BitComet.

      SkyUser - The Unofficial Help and Support Forum for everything Sky! - BitComet Port forwarding on a Sagem F@ST 2504 Router.

      To get the port that Utorrent uses follow this step:

      1) Open Utorrent

      2) Click on Options

      3) Click on Connection

      4) Use the number in Port Used for incoming connections


      Instead of

      Once installed start the program and then select Options from the top menu.

      Look for Listen Port and make a note of this number, in our example it is 25042

      thats the guide i have used but for some reason in the router seetings for the IP it keeps changing to close the port when i change the IP it opens it again then when i re connect to internet it closes change ip again re opens its like its not saving the setting in the router and just revverts back to the orginal IP

      You are putting the internal IP in, ie 192.168.0.3 and not your external one ie 90.123.123.123?
