      Is that strictly correct, or do you mean they don't intend to put anyone on Fast but sometimes do? Excerpt from current thread
      /usr/sbin/adslctl: ADSL driver and PHY status
      Status: Showtime Channel: FAST, Upstream rate = 766 Kbps, Downstream rate = 15323 Kbps
      Link Power State: L0
      Mode: ADSL2+
      Channel: Fast

      thats a bug...anyone on fast path gets the port disabled so no one can be on Fast...

      Yes, that's a router reporting bug - all ADSL2+ is reported as Fast.

      What you need to look at is the D value in the detailed router stats (V1 router and .28 firmware only, unfortunately).
