      Replacement Routers

      Hey,

      What happens if people have the white netgear router and they phone up saying their netgear router lights won't turn on because there is something wrong with it? Do they send out the new black sagem routers? Or is still what u first had?

      Well my friend has the white netgear router and no lights turn on front of the router lol except for the number2 for ethernet but he can still get on lol... If he resets it it does exactly the same, and even a powercycle... so if he phones up can he get the black sagem but still use the current router he has until he gets it?

      I got a replacement router sent out last week and they sent me the white netgear.

      when do you think they will start sending reply paid envelopes with the replacement routers, so the old "broke" router get returned ?

      That's what we were told but it's not been happening, we get asked about it on calls and all we can say is keep the faulty router in a cupboard just in case and if they ask for it back send it back, if they don't just let it gather dust.

      It's a bit strange though why the customers are not being given return instructions with the router, I may have to talk to my TL about it later to find out if something has changed or if a new procedure is being brought in.
