    netgear sky router problem (very annoying)

      Question netgear sky router problem (very annoying)

      i have a netgear adsl router dg834gt. it takes 2 and a half minutes to load and all the lights come in 30 seconds.one it loaded, it gets disconnected alot, and 95% of the time, i have to unplug it and then plug it again which is very annoying, the other 5% of the time it automatically connects but it takes 1 minute to do so. i contacted sky and they said that it was to do with my connection, the lowered it from 8mb/s to 5mb/s. the problem still persists.i need help

      i was also wondering if anyone could tell me an excuse to get a new router because at the moment that is all i want from sky. and i only want it free as i am in serious debt

      you will need to post your router stats

      also you may want to try from your master socket / test socket, as your extionsion (if you use one) may be the cause of your problem

      Something very wrong here. Looks like a cabling or line fault. Do you have ADSL filters in EVERY extension on the line including Sky digibox(es)?

      Can you plug your router into the master socket or engineer test socket then post again?

      Same as you did before in your earlier post. In the Router Statistics window,
      Right Click, Select All, Copy then come back here and Paste.
