Good grief - how many more times?

      Which ip?

You have a dynamic ip with Sky. It will change every time you reboot the router or the connection drops. This ip starts 90.xxx.xxx.xxx.

Your PC or similar devices (e.g. xbox) is given an ip by the router. This ip starts 192.168.0.x. If you haven't given the device a fixed ip then it may change when you turn the device off and turn it back on again e.g. if another device connects in the meantime.

      Re: Ip changing...

You've already asked this question and been answered, if you're not going to bother reading replies or actually pay attention to the answers then how are we going to help you? Just because you haven't powered off the router it does NOT mean that the connection to the router itself from the exchange equipment hasn't dropped. This can happen for a few reasons and can be annoying if it occurs. Please look back through your post history and read the replies you have already been given as that will help you more than asking the same question over and over.

      Re: Ip changing...

Setting up a Static LAN IP for your PC (includes computers connected wirelessly,WAN)

      1. Login to your router (username: admin || Password: sky)(assuming you haven't changed the default)
      2. Select the LAN IP setup on the left panel.
      3. Click on the "add" option done the bottom.
      4. Select the machine you want to set a static IP for on the LAN network.
      5. Then click "add".
      6. You will need to reset the machine for the changes to take affect.

NOTE: If a machine already has the IP address specified. So if you want your machine to have IP 192.168.0.2 and another machine has it, then you will need to turn that computer off.

However, if it is the IP address on the ADSL Port IP Address...then this will change due to disconnects, router reboots etc. The reason for this is because SKY use Dynamic IP addesses.
