    Outbound and Inbound Services?!?

    This is a discussion on Outbound and Inbound Services?!? within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; whats the different between them? because i need to forward some ports like 2900 and 80...but i dont know where ...

      whats the different between them? because i need to forward some ports like 2900 and 80...but i dont know where should i put it on INBOUND or OUTBOUND Service...

      Inbound services are for people out on the Internet to connect in to a servers that you have set up at home.

      Outbound services are for you to connect out to servers on the Internet.

      It really is that obvious.

      Note that you do not need to enable any outbound services, because there is a default rule that allows all outbound connects through.

      If you're still trying to get a game server running, then it's inbound services that you need to create.

      put 2 because 1 is router ip
