wireless is connected but internet isn't

I have a full signal but I keep losing connection.

I've discovered that the way to solve this problem is to constantly open up my wireless connection details and repair the IP connection.

Is there any way to perminantly solve this disconnection problem?

Incidentally, please be patient as I'm an IT novice.

Re: wireless is connected but internet isn't

      goto tcp/ip properties,

      set it to
      IP: 192.168.0.x
      Gateway: 192.168.0.1

try that and see wat happens xD
