      All the pc's are on 192.168.0.x and have already checked the firewall on Windows Home server its allowing access to these ports. am very confused.

      Try disabling it for a short period. As I said when my server downloaded and installed the firewall it cause mayhem. I too allowed the ports but this didnt help and things were still blocked.

      Its worth a try to completly rule it out.

      Sorted it - No idea why - just did a reinstall.
      First impressions - Very good.
      really keen on the backups etc. - will see how it goes with day to day use but its looking like I am going to buy it.
