      Router disconnect with 2 computers

      Please help,
      when I try to connect my wireless laptop to the sky netgear (white) router, at the same time as my PC, I losed the connection everytime. Please can someone help me with this?????

      It sounds like an IP conflict. Do you have both machines set to 'Obtain an IP address Automatically' and have DHCP enabled on the router? If so a little more info would be helpful, such as - Does it disconnect from the internet? Is it the PC or Laptop that disconnects? Can you connect the Laptop when the PC is unplugged from the router?

      My connection has never been brilliant, when I connect the laptop when the pc is already connected, it disconnects and niether can connect. If I connect the laptop on its own it is all fine. Where do I check the automatis IP thing?
