      192.168.0.1

      Have people been having problems just trying to access the router itself

      i was fine this morning but over the past 2 hours the internet has died and i havent even been able to access the router itself

      Kackgear not netgear

      yes, once it dies you can't even hit the router locally...

      I remember when the ZX80 computer came out about a quarter of a century ago, people would prevent it going unstable by positioning a carton of cold milk over the heatsink.

      I had no problem with my ZX80 other than trying to load stuff from tape - or was that my radio shack machine - been so long now i can't remember

      I always found altering the volume during loading helped!

      ZX81 was the hair-trigger balancing of the external 16k rampack which would break the connections as it got warmed up ..
