    This is a discussion on dg834n within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; any firmware that has inbuilt WOL settings in for this firmware? I don't know if ubergt will work on this ...

      any firmware that has inbuilt WOL settings in for this firmware? I don't know if ubergt will work on this router because this is more newer than dg834gt?

      also i would loose all the new settings dg834n offers if i do that right?

      I'm pretty certain that the UberGT software will not work on the DG834N. For a start, the DG834N will obviously have different wireless hardware, so that would need different code to drive that. And I doubt the DG834N router will still be using the BCM6348 processor. If they are still using a Broadcom chip, it's more likely to be the more modern and powerful BCM6358.
