Here is what i think sky should do immediately before they fall foul of pitfalls looming and current.

1. Provide a router and say no support is given unless you use their router.
2. Remove the "hardcoded" username and password method they currently employ.

A)It prevents people using thier own preferred routers that WORK.

B)It enables BT speed tests which cannot be carried out at the moment.

C)It is probably violating the open source license of the software being used for the router - if ever this get made public, everyone's connection could be seriously impacted from a secure point of view as logging into your router would be easy if the code that currently specifies your password is open to the public.

I would really like sky to comment on these issues.
