Re: Can I use the Sky router for home network

I started my home network with a wired PC and a wireless laptop and now, I've had to add another wired PC and a second wireless laptop. Printer is shared by all. Never had much of a problem. However, make sure that where needed the workgroup name is identical and that you enter the network key in caps.

Re: Can I use the Sky router for home network

The wireless network is working, inasmuch as all the PCs can share the internet connection, without any problem. Prior to me switching from the BT router to the Sky one, I could see all my PCs in My Network Places/View Workgroup Computers. Now I can't see any. Have tried setting up the Workgroup again from scratch, no joy. I get the dreaded 'Workgroup is not accessible' message.

Sorry OP, didn't mean to hijack your thread. I have started my own in the Asking for Help forum.

This may be a silly question, but do you have file and printer sharing enabled on all your computers?
