      router flashing

After reading the sticky for flashing the router, it all seems pretty straight forward.

The only thing im unsure on is what are the benefits?

I appreciate that its not something thats is promoted by skyuser, although alot of ppl seem to be doing it. What is the benefite to me if i was to do this?

      thanks all

      Re: router flashing

Unless you are having issues, there is no point. Some people report the router is more stable after they have flashed it, but these are the people who have been having problems.

If you do flash your router, be careful.

      Re: router flashing

      thanks newreader,

the only porblem that ive been having with the router is that the connection strength never stays static, its very very irratic, ranging from good to low.

im doubtful that flashing the router would change this, but that is why i was asking
