      set access time on router

      Hi hope this has not been asked before have searched but could not find

      I want to know if i can set the router to stop accessing the net after a certain time at night as we have moved computer in to daughters room and she stays on it all night

      Yes, I think if you access the router user interface and look at Firewall Rules and Schedule you should be able to set the router to block all sites at given hours. There's quite a useful guide on screen but I think I would download the DG834GT manual from Netgear -- the interface will look different in parts due to Sky customising it, but the manual should help.

      Also remember, to make this effective you will have to change the password on the router and keep it to yourself.

      I too have two daughters who use MSN late into the night, so whats wrong with a Digital Time Switch ?, I have been using one for months with no problems, greener too
