      Help- sky broadband set up issues

      am having a nightmare! finally got the box/ lights etc working after weeks of wrangling with sky. all seems fine, broadband lights etc all on but it keeps saying they cant connect to the internet? have raised a tier 3 ticket with sky but no one has called me back. their tech support is rubbish... please help me??

      a friend of mine had the same problem what it is there was a batch of routers that where sent out that have not been added to the system properly tier 3 should add them to the list to be sorted out and that will take upto 72hrs from when they add it to the list.

      If this has been going on for some weeks it is unlikely to be an authentication issue. Are you able to access the Router from your PC? If you are, open the 1st page, scroll to the bottom and click the 'Sky Test' button. Post the message that you get.

      If you don't know how to access your router, click This Link it will take you to the logon page, use admin as the user and sky as the password.

      If all your lights are on, the inability to connect may be due to your PC settings, if you do the above, it will give us an idea where the fault is.
