^^^Agree, but the fact that it is syncing faster from the test socket probably means that internal wiring is degrading the connection. Disconnect ring wire?

also the NM of 7.4, whilst good now, will probably drop below the crucial 7db threshold as the evening progresses, so you need to keep a close eye on that. If it does drop, then as mentioned before, set your NM to about 8 or 9db at about 8pm.

      Re: Router troubles.

you're about to hit that crucial threshold of 7db!

Your errors at the top are quite high (10% when they should be 0.1% at most), but the 15 min segments look okay.

Still think you need to increase your noise margin, but if the connection is acceptable for you then.......

      Re: Router troubles.

It's not really what I 'want' yet.. I've increased my NM to 9.

Anyway to deal with those errors? It's still in the test socket btw, should I keep it in there? :>

EDIT: I have tended to notice the router DOES reboot itself a fair bit.

      Re: Router troubles.

you needs an NTE5 faceplate from ADSLNation and then you can plug the router into the new faceplate and no need for any more filters anywhere in the house.
