      Question Query Router From Script

      Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a way to query my router from a script. I want to know if and when it's IP changes without actually logging into it.

I've tried a perl script that I came across and I've tried downloading the status page with 'wget' (both supplying username & paasword). Each method failed authentication.

I'm aware of the DynDNS facillity within the router and that works great with DynDNS.org but I need something else.

      Any info appreciated.

      Cheers,
      Mike.

      Re: Query Router From Script

      Hi Guys,

Sorry to answer my own post but I found a solution. 'curl'.

      Cheers,
      Mike.
