      No Internet connection

Hi, Is it safe or ok to sometimes use the Sky router without the Internet? that means no phone lead plugged into the telephone socket? , I listen to my Mp3's wirelessly from my desktop PC (upstairs) on my Vista Laptop, anywhere in the House via the Wireless option on the Router. I can listen with no worries about spyware or viruses or Hackers , as I am not connected to the net, then if I want the net, I just plug in the Router into the wall Socket, and and the Router syncs up, also good for wireless Lan games as no web connection, although I have not tried this yet,
      Paul
