Only asking because the router SHOULD be accessible using admin / sky unless someones changed the password.

      someones changed the password.
I have been having the same thought, however, resetting the router should return it to 'factory' state and return the password to either Sky or Netgear default.

I suggest you try resetting the router again, push a biro in the hole at the rear and hold it there until the 'test' light blinks, usually about 10 seconds.

When the light starts to blink, the router will reboot and that's it, it should be returned to the default settings.

just for the record, Sky tech support cannot get into your router form their screen!! if we could then there'd be all sorts of trouble!! :S

      Re: Router Help Please

This raises the question, are Sky sending out boxes which have been returned? It seems the only reason the default user/password would not work first time. If they are, surely they would reset the router to the default settings.
