      Router configuration

Hello everybody, need a bit of advice if poss.

Prior to joining Sky Broadband, I ran a Lan in a bridged configuration and all was happy. However it would appear that the Netgear bit of kit Sky provides is unable to run in bridged mode.

I wanted to re-use my D-Link DSL-G624T router but as lots of people have found, you need to get the username and password form the Sky box.

Tried the suggestions about interrogating the netgear.cfg file but the bits of info you need are left blank.

Can anyone suggest a method of re instigating a bridge, any help appreciated.

Good grief, I now have a series of figures ending in'@skydsl', and a password, if this is correct I hereby offer a prayer of blessing to hackers everywhere, very many thanks, will try it on the D-link later.

That is your name and password, just put it into your D-link, mine works fine with it, better than the Netgear one.
