    wan setup

    This is a discussion on wan setup within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; does anyone know the correct wan setup for sky connection eg,1500,1498 on netgear sky router had it at 1500 everything ...

      wan setup

      does anyone know the correct wan setup for sky connection eg,1500,1498 on netgear sky router had it at 1500 everything was ok then connection slowed right down to about 1 meg then changed it to 1498 and back up to 7 and a half meg,why would this slow it down and is there a certain wan connection i should try???????????????

      I think you mean the MTU size, if so the best way is to run TCP Optimiser. Download it and follow the instructions.
