    My speed up and down

    This is a discussion on My speed up and down within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; After phoneing sky and geting t3 to talk to me thay said ok your geting 12mb with few line crs ...

      My speed up and down

      After phoneing sky and geting t3 to talk to me thay said ok your geting 12mb with few line crs so we will cap you not to 10 mb or 8 mb to bloody 5 mb what a joke 3 week i had 12 mb downlaods and odd dis but not problem not i feel like going back TO V.M what can i do to sort this ?

      CRC line errors are quite often caused by poor extension wiring in your house which can be resolved. You could post your detailed router stats to see if they show anything, they may not now you have been capped, use this to extract them Sky Netgear DG834GT utility version 0.4 it will ask for router username and password, then backpage to first screen then click download cgf file. Open with notepad.

      Problem is Sky will now want to see an error free line before they remove the cap. Shame you didn't read this forum b4 getting capped.

      np there the problem is line from house to cab box out side house so bt man says but he says its down to sky to ask for it to be sorted ?
