      Well they dont look too bad I have seen alot worse, but your SNR is lowish 6.9, and attn quite high which would indicate you are more than 1.5km from the exchange the cable must take the long route, or your line is of poor quality. If the uPNP thingy dosen't help you could try setting your SNR slightly higher using the same utility maybe 7.5 to see if that stops your drop outs, but the higher you force the SNR in the situation the slower your speed will be so only nudge it up a bit. You can clear any changes by reseating the router.

      looks like alot of errors on it but im no expert. The usual things for errors is to take stats again from the test socket (unscrew the face plate from the master phone socket its located behind there) and plug the router into that with no extentions.

      But that is if that log is showing errors as i say im no expert

      *cough* saturday!

      thanks for help - coincidence or not since I've turned off the Upns or whatever it's called my connection has been ggod. Haven't had to unplug router from mains at all! Fingers crossed.
      Will bear in mind your last piece of advice just in case.
