    new to sky bb

    This is a discussion on new to sky bb within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; am new to sky broadband today as left ntl well conected up ok geting 13mb fine but every 2 hrs ...

      new to sky bb

      am new to sky broadband today as left ntl well conected up ok geting 13mb fine but every 2 hrs it cuts me off noise is at 8.1 -8.9 not droped below 6.9 any one know why it cuts off? his my stats

      Although your line is generating errors they're not too bad for an ADSL2+ connection syncing at 15323kbps. So I doubt that's the issue.

      Could be the UPnP bug. Log into the router and turn it off (untick and click apply) then reboot both the router and the PC.

      When you're "cut off every 2 hours" what exactly happens? Can you log into the router? Is the internet light lit on the front of the router? And is it every 2 hours - looking at your stats you had been connected for 4 hours when you took them?

      Could it be a wireless problem? Are you wired or wireless?
