Status screen is displaying no username. Or is it hard coded or something?

Re: Router Status - no user name?

It's hard coded into the Sky router in Sky's own firmware. You can find out what the user name etc is by using the utility found elsewhere in the forum. Sky have done it this way to make it easier for people to log on....no details we have to put in so it should be a case of plug router in and wahaay! up and running!

( it's probably also been done this way so people who don't know what they're doing can't play with it causing people to call them asking..."how do i put these settings in!" )

      Yeh. Got it now....

Suppose its not a bad idea by Sky. Saves them all the hassle where people have messed about with their usernames and passwords...
