      sky go

I have the sky go and sky q app - is there any difference between them in terms of viewing live tv and in particular the amount of data used? I mainly use sky go app and I read somewhere that it uses approx. 700mb per hour for hiqh quality streaming - however, it seems to me nowadays that it uses 1-1.5 gb per hour which seems crazy - as far as I am aware I am watching on the tv guide on the sd (non hd) versions of the channels (if there are any) but it seems to use a huge amount of data when wifi is not available - if there are any tips on restricting the amount of data used in on non-wifi areas I would be grateful as I cant see any settings to tweak!

      cheers
