Strange Happenings - Sky Q Built in Powerline?

Bear with me as this is a weird scenario**

      *

I have a Sky q box and 2 minis, each box has all wifi turned off via the engineer menu, and I activated the powerline and ethernet settings**

      *

The sky q* fibre is attached to an Tp-link Archer 2800, this broadcast the same SSID on the 2.4 range and same password as the original sky q hub, from rhe back via cat 7 thernet it goes to a 1300mbps pass through powerline adapter.*

      *

In the living room I did have a 2nd pass through tp link identical to the one attached to the router.* This had another cat 7 into a gigabit ethernet switch from this another cat 7 into the sky q box. The switch also connects to xbox one and a smart TV all working fine .

      *

Today I just happened to remove the 2nd powerline and the connection of the cat 7, the sky q box plugged into the main wall socket* *

      *

Here's the strange thing , the xbox and the smart TV still showed as having a wired connection, they both recognise the NAS drive and media server on my network?

      *

Would i be right in saying that the mains plug to the sky q box is actually acting as a powerline to the ethernet switch and in turn provide Internet access to the xbox and TV? The xbox shows download of 48 and uploading 15 i have a 80 and 20 speed to the router.

The other 2 minis are connected to the network via similar tp link powerline adapters**

The built in powerline in a skyq box has never been enabled according to here https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-Q/P...d/td-p/2950323
