Netflix and Sky Q confusion.... please help

I have Sky Q 2 TB with a mini box and pay sky 51.50 for box sets included and I have Netflix premium (4 screens) at 9.99 so pay 61.49 In total

I just phoned up and was told that my current package with Netflix premium would cost me 52.00.

So in reality Netflix premuim is costing me 50p through sky which seems crazy......

But I was told that 2 devices have to be sky boxes then the other 2 screens have to be tablets phones etc.

If this is correct it would be no good for me as my kids are on Netflix 24/7 on 2 roku sticks then I could only watch Netflix on my sky box.

As I use Netflix on my phone and my mother sometimes uses Netflix on firestick it would not allow as 2 screens would in most cases be tied up by my two kids.

The man on the phone was very confusing so can somebody confirm that if I pay sky for 4 screen premium Netflix I can't use 3 mobile/ stick devices at same time for Netflix.

If this is the case I'll just stick with what I got. And just pay Netflix 9.99 login to Netflix through app this way im not restricted to number of mobile screens or locked into an 18 month contract extension

You will be able to view Netflix on any of your chosen devices at any time anywhere. It is not in any way tied to your sky q boxes.
It works in exactly the same way as Netflix Premium does now. Run it on any four devices at a time.
All the Sky Ultimate On demand Netflix deal is is doing is allowing it to be billed by Sky rather than Netflix (via iTunes, credit card, google play etc) and as you found out can work out cheaper bundled with Sky.
There will also be some integration of netflix content that you will notice on your sky boxes, that will be gathered and changed from the Netflix profile that you use on the sky box. So you can use a different profile on each of your sky main and mini boxes and the continue menu and other menus content will reflect that profile.

I just haven't worked out how to activate it!!! I tried thru the box and it suggested it was going to charge me a tenner but I just want to link my current account.

      Just go to Home>Apps
Select the Netflix app and sign in with your current Netflix account.
Do this on each box and away you go.

The promotional video and red button promo in the Home Top Picks section is only for those that want to sign up for the sky Netflix deal.

For me it's exactly the same but with the added advantage of being able to watch Netflix on my sky boxes and free Box Sets. My kids continue to watch Netflix on their PC/Tablet/Phone. It's still any four screens at any one time.

That was what I was expecting, but no netflix app is there. If I go to On Demand then there is a netflix option but that is the UoD sign up.

Are you on the latest Sky Q firmware? For the Sky 2tb box it is Q080.000.76.00L and for the mini and Sky 1tb box it is Q080.000.75.00L
It is on the DR stream now, so if for some reason you do not have it, just force it from settings.
      If you do have the latest firmware you need to try refreshing your apps by;
Home>Settings entering 0001, slect Apps and refresh apps.
Then reboot your box with power out for 30 seconds.

Thanks for the info i went on live chat and they confirmed any 4 screens for Netflix.

So I upgraded for 50p saving myself 9.49 a month.

Had to pay 10 admin fee but hey that's nothing compared to what I will save

If the deal was included in your offers you should have been able to sign up online without paying an admin fee.
