      How do I switch to a new package from a legacy one

      I currently have Box sets with HD and Sky Q Multiscreen.

      From 1st April 2018 this will cost me:
      Box sets with HD 39.50
      Sky Q Multiscreen 12.00
      TOTAL = 51.50 / month

      If I go to the Sky website without logging in the equivalent new packages are:
      Sky Entertainment 25 (ignoring discount for new customers)
      Box Sets 5
      HD 5
      Sky Q Multiscreen 12
      TOTAL = 47.00

      I have had Sky Q since August 2016 and so am probably at the end of my contract (assuming that it was 18 months).

      How do I switch to the new packages?
      This doesn't seem to be possible when I am signed into My Sky.

      A quick call should do it, I was in a similar position a few weeks bag and ended up saving just shy of 30 per month just by recontracting on a new package after I suggested I as a long standing customer I deserved better.

      Just call them.
      Do remember that your Sky Q multiscreen contract is separate from your tv packages and can be negotiated separately.

      RESULT - I phoned them and got the bill down to 42 / month by signing up for a new 18 month contract.
      Sky Entertainment 20
      HD 5
      Box Sets 5
      Multiscreen 12

      I dropped the kids channels as my youngest is now 16 and says he no longer watches them.

      So I have save myself 9.50 a month compared with what it would have been.

      Thanks for your advice everyone.

      I did the exact same thing as I do not need any kids channels plus I got full sports package (with free HD) and still my total went down by 10 a month.

      Sony 55XE9305, Denon AVR-X3300W, Panasonic DMP-UB700, Tannoy 5.1.2,
      Sony 32W705,
      Yamaha YSP-1600, Asustor AS5002T 4TB NAS, Apple TV 4K
