Super fast forward to start time using Touch remote

As Sky Q appears to have dropped the ability to enter a start time of your choosing when watch a recording I found this as the best alternative which I found by chance. I can only vouch for this with regard to the Touch remote.

Whilst the recording is playing swipe up on the centre circle so to get the time progress bar up now swipe and hold either way left or right but again on the centre circle, the further you move out from the centre the faster the scrubbing speed is. You can move through a 5 hours program in seconds.

Hope this helps and that I'm not stating the obvious

This also works with the normal remote, while the play bar is up holding down the left or right buttons enable you to fast forward or rewind quickly :-)

I cannot replicate this on my touch remote unless I pause the programme first, however....

This does seem to work on the normal remote as described in this post.

The same technique also scrolls in 1 minute intervals if you do a single right or left swipe and release. Very handy for skipping ads.
