      Sky Q Question

      Hello Peeps,
I share a property with a family member, we have 2 Sky HD boxes i.e. multiroom, and the content on each box tends to be personal preference to each of us if that makes sense.
So if I upgrade to Sky Q dose that mean all content recorded is merged between the boxes?
      Cheers in advance.

Yes the content is stored on the main Q box and the mini is just a slave.

No, all current content will be lost. All new recordings will be stored on the Sky Q box but will be accessible from this box, the mini box and on a tablet using the Sky Q app provided that you retain the multiscreen subscription.

Cheers for the replys, yes I realise all current recordings would be lost.
Mmmmm I'm not sure I like that idea, I prefer the box's being independent,
so will leave things as they are for now I think.

The roadmap for Sky Q developments includes an eventual option for profiles within a household so people can choose to only see their own recordings. However it seems to be a lower priority than for instance 6 recording which was added relatively quickly.
