      The table is wrong.
      The correct firmware released from 3rd November was Q003.001.25.00L(4lvlz6c)

      Also I believe;
      The firmware is rolled out to all on release day. It is not like sky+hd where it is rolled out in batches. There is no dr stream like sky+hd either, so the latest firmware is what is always available to all.

      Re: Sky Q Box (TV) Firmware Versions

      Thanks Lettice. I've corrected the last part.

      As for the DR Stream, yes this does exist for the Q boxes. This information comes direct from the people who deal with it and get the conformation that it's available.

      Without going into detail, there is far more to the update process for the Q boxes than the Sky+ HD STBs.

      The DR Stream will be normally used by the installers, but just in case, it is also available for anyone else too.

      Notice anything new?

      - - - Updated - - -

      Just checked mine and the only thing I noticed was powerline was on, don't remember turning it on myself. I've turned it off now as I don't need it.

      Not seeing anything.
      But yes Powerline is now turned on for the Sky 2TB box but still off on the mini.

      Fixes for this release include;

      • Addresses an issue affecting 1TB Sky Q boxes where no sound could be heard when connected to certain models of Samsung TV.
      • Addresses an issue where the box may crash under certain situations when watching Online Videos.
      • Resolves an issue when pairing a Sky Q Touch remote with a Q box where an on screen message would be displayed advising that pairing had been unsuccessful despite the pairing having completed successfully.
      • Resolves an issue where a green screen is displayed when the Q box starts up.
      • Resolves an issue where a Q box would switch in to standby randomly.
      • Addresses certain situations which would cause a Sky Q Mini box to reboot.
      • The Sky logo displayed in the bottom left of the Sky Q Guide had been updated to the new corporate style.

      Wow, that's fantastic... real improvement. Now how about user configurable menu options.

      Don't hold your breath. I'm highly sceptical Sky will offer any form of customisation, but I wait to be proven wrong and will be happy if I am.

      My primary issue that I hoped would have been fixed with this new update was the ability to separate recordings as per genre/recording type like the old traditional Sky HD boxes. It's almost comical such a fundamental feature has yet to be included after nearly 12 months. Basically, you have a choice between a screen full of thumbnails or an A-Z listing and that's pretty much it. Get your finger out Sky.

      Did pour a glass of something to celebrate that one
      The bigger customization update will be arriving soon...
      Everyone got the powerline switch on for the main box.

      Seems a bit pointless don't you think? Why only the main unit, and why switch it on... there are just SO many whys.
