      Sky+ Subscription imminent scrapping

A few members have reported that Sky are to drop the Sky+ subscription.

We have reason to believe that this will be announced imminently. Which saves approx £10.00 per month on your monthly bill. Hopefully they will drop the price of the Sky+ box for existing customers. I would sign up tomorrow if it was £49.00 fitted.

Obviously this is in direct competition with Virgin Media and will have a lot to do with maintaining a low churn rate from Sky.

I was amazed today, I spoke to a friend who was paying £170.00 a month to NTL, yes a month! Since the Virgin takeover this has reduced to £100.00 per month. Seriously who in their right mind would commit £170.00 per month for watching TV and broadband?

I wonder if you will able to to use the sky+ box without subscribting to sky, or if they will lock it off if you dont have a subcription

My current subscription is £10 for Sky+ and MultiRoom (together). Any idea how this might be affected? Since MultiRoom is £10 on its own I am guessing my subscription will be unaffected.

      Hi Zipie

I recommended a friend the other week and did not get such an offer, I got some M&S vouchers - who shops at M&S?
