      Can't though

My building has a shared dish system, & each flat only has one feed (all nicely routed in the walls to a single outlet in the lounge), plus we can't get a dish of our own up. So no dual feed, so no Sky+ (or HD, which I'd want even more tbh).

I haven't read anything about that. I also hope this Sky+ rumour proves to be more than just that.

As I understand, an upcoming version of the sky+ box will have new technology which means the 'stuff' inside the LNB will be in the box, so that you only need one input from the dish.

Can't remember where I originally read it or how far off it is.

I can't see how thats possible without returning to something along the lines of the old BSB DMac Squarial device which had a signal collecting matrix embedded within the face of the Squarial. The LNB was mounted on the rear of the device fed directly from the signal collection matrix..

Yes I read that somewhere too, the new box uses a unicable LNB.

Should have happened on 12th February, but didn't but will do.
