FUP on MAX - Revised figures?

Unofficially, the download limits for MAX are 250gb, and not 350gb as previously thought.

Although no one from Sky management have confirmed this figure, it has been quoted quite a few times by PM to myself from people in the know.

We would like to make it clear that no individual (as far as we know) is actually monitored for useage, but the bandwidth traffic in heavy usage areas is monitored and picked up on reports etc.

Even though it is now 100gb less than what we thought, (or previously were told) 250gb is a fair amount of data and Linux Distros to shift per month.

Anyone who complains about this amount, seriously, should rent their own central. That is still one huge and very generous allowance.

Perhaps someone from Sky would like to confirm?

No more like 50 films at near DVD quality. 250Gb divided by approx 5Gb per film

Re: FUP on MAX - Revised figures?

I don't think anyone could afford to buy 50 films a month to download, thats over 500.00

Re: FUP on MAX - Revised figures?

I personally think that Sky should forget all this "Unlimited" garbage, And just say FUP instead!

Why say Unlimited then put FUP?

Anyways.. I do alot more then 250Gb lets see what happens!

Re: FUP on MAX - Revised figures?

Well I'm glad there's a real figure now as I've only used about 85GB of total bandwith for the last 3 months!
