Your requirements I feel would well and truly be met at 5.00 per month imho
oh dear! Does my reputation precede me

Yep, the one and only (I hope) - certainly the only one from PN, and AG, etc.

Re: Sky Broadband Connect at 5 a month ??

I think we know why now, Sky are making a major announcement on Monday regarding Sky TV new signup packages.

Although we have a copy of the new signup offers, we cannot publish until Monday as it would give away straight away where we got them from.

However if you are not already a Sky TV customer, the new offers rock and you should be!

No I don't think so, when I buy a telly or a PC, and then I see it in a shop 2 months later cheaper, I don't go and ask for a refund, thats life.

I want Sky + but I won't buy it as it is 99.00 for me even as an existing customer.

nr it souds like you are getting off with me coz i aint singing skys praises. to use your anology from last night regarding traffic lights - if you had paid for a pass that lets you thro red lights for 17 a month and then found out that the same pass was being offered for 5 to others would you not be upset ? tellys/pc's are not a comparison as they age and are replaced by better products and hence are reduced to reflect that - is the sky connect package at 5 a worse service than the one I am paying 17 for ? - i dont think so.

Re: Sky Broadband Connect at 5 a month ??

I never get off with anyone, the fact we have two different points of views is great.

I am looking through the pair of eyes that can see a bargain, however I also accept that certain things have to be enticements for new customers. Otherwise your market would not grow.

If you read my above posts I said that they should refund half of the connection fee, and credit the difference back for the Connect signups already. However I would think that the TV offer for new customers, could not or would even be offered to existing customers.

If they did I would buy Sky + and believe me I have tried every trick in the book to get one free
